Modeling Nonlinear Problems
The designers of NSTAR recently increased the allowable number of
material sets from 20 to 90. New material models include:
- von Mises and Drucker-Prager yield
- Elasto-plastic and perfectly plastic
- Isotropic/kinematic hardening
- Higher order Mooney-Rivlin hyperelastic
- Temperature dependent properties
- Viscoelasticity (Maxwell model)
- User-defined material models
- Temperature-dependent creep
